Laguna Beach Cottage
I gave this charming, remodeled, Laguna Beach home, a true English Cottage Garden. Structure and whimsy evoke a different experience in each area of the garden with an element of surprise. In the retreat garden for the guest quarters awaits a relaxing lounge chair and antique slider, nestled beneath a rose engulfed arch. The garden is peppered throughout with citrus and fruit trees. A "parterre" of boxwood encase blankets of color that change with each season. Three rose filled arches soften the hedge surrounding the garden. A gazebo allows the homeowner to dine "alfresco" next to a soft trickling wall fountain, encased by a wisteria vine. A bird bath fountain surrounded by rose trees attracts birds year round. The lavender lined stone and gravel pathway, leads to a quite bench that allows the onlooker to experience the whole garden against the backdrop of the blue Pacific.

French Estate
A classic French garden, with lavender, boxwood, pea gravel, old world roses and antique statuary were in keeping with the architecture of the home. The spa and putting green add a resort experience with the peach, pear, apricot, apple, and pomegranate trees bringing you back into a country the French Estate. There are several cozy areas to sit and enjoy different experiences in the garden. The ocean view and numerous scents from the lavender and blossoming trees have a tranquil relaxing effect.

Beacon Bay - Newport Beach
This clean and lovely Cape Cod remodel needed space for outdoor entertaining, with a front door entree. This cozy family neighborhood, gathers in the grassy, strada area to play football and other activities. An outdoor patio room was created, with barbecue, dining area and fire pit softened by the new garden. The intent was to add to the home without taking away from the charm and traditions of the neighborhood. The configuration of the patio was constructed to provide, extra seating for the fire pit area as well as large gatherings. Copper gutters, stone placed on the house as well as up the front walk and patio, gives it a warm, inviting feel. The garden that was installed was in keeping with the style of the home with low maintainability. The furniture I chose was to add to the comfort and ease of this charming home, in this "old guard" Newport Beach community.

Talega - San Clemente
"Talega''is a lovely community that over looks the beaches of San Clemente. The young family that resides here requested an outdoor entertainment experience. The jacuzzi was elevated to be able to enjoy the ocean view while you are relaxing in it. The fire pit sits next to the spa and illuminates the area at night. The "Baja" area in the pool invites you to sit and cool yourself and is ideal for young children. The outdoor kitchen with bar, flat screen and dining table functions beautifully for large gatherings. The grass that sits adjacent to the dining area creates a serene feel and allows children to run and play. I planted organic herbs, apple and peach trees to provide a healthy"kitchen garden" experience for all.
